Reading Out of Poverty has published 30,000 new branded multilingual books in 12 languages and English. Multilingual books enable us to promote the importance of reading in migrant and refugees’ families. We want parents to be their child’s first teacher by developing a consistent and regular reading routine at home. Reading in their native tongue and English strengthens and expands a child’s knowledge of these languages.
“This is the first time since moving to Australia three years ago that I see my own language in writing! I am so looking forward to reading this to my child!”
