Donate today and a child from a low socio-economic background
will receive a Christmas gift this year.

It's that time of the year again and we are hosting our Christmas Book Giving Project.

This project consists of gift-wrapping new books and giving them to underprivileged children at Christmas time.

This project is our favourite tradition at Reading out of Poverty (ROOP).

Every Christmas ROOP gives away brand new books specially gift wrapped to families who are struggling to make ends meet. Many of these children don't have any books at home. Therefore, we aim to engage children to discover the joy of reading by proving books as gifts this Christmas.

Why books?

Reading is a fundamental skill for children, this practice stimulates intellectual development in kids, expands children vocabulary, helps to build independence and self-confidence, and allows children to explore the world and increase their imagination. On Christmas, we would like to encourage you to give books to the loved kids around you but also to children less fortunate in Victoria. For them, books are considered a luxury and they simply cannot afford them.

Partner with us to see children smile this Christmas, changing lives one book at a time!

We would like to thank you in advance for all your support to our organisation and Christmas project.

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!

Provide a Christmas gift of books to a disadvantaged child today!
